Redhorse Awarded U.S. Army Predictive Sustainment Prototype Contract

ARLINGTON, VA — Oct. 6, 2026— Redhorse Corporation, a technology-driven solutions provider supporting national security missions, today announced it has been awarded a contract supporting the U.S. Army’s Predictive Sustainment: Real-Time Data initiative.
The effort will develop and demonstrate an edge-enabled sustainment capability designed to transform tactical vehicle data into timely, actionable information for Army maintainers and operational leaders. The prototype will explore how vehicle and sustainment data can be captured, processed, and made available closer to the point of need, including in degraded, disconnected, intermittent, and limited-bandwidth environments.
Redhorse will lead the technical integration and development of the prototype, bringing together edge computing, data engineering, analytics, systems integration, cybersecurity, and soldier-informed development. The work will help the Army evaluate how real-time and predictive sustainment information can improve maintenance response, increase operational visibility, and support more proactive readiness decisions.
“Combat readiness is a system problem,” said Vincent Bridgeman, Senior Vice President of National Security at Redhorse Corporation. “The opportunity is not simply to collect more vehicle data—it is to turn the right data into trusted sustainment intelligence and get it to where and when soldiers need it. This prototype is about shortening the distance between an emerging vehicle condition and the maintenance or logistics decision that preserves combat power.”
The prototype will use an iterative development approach that incorporates Army stakeholder and soldier feedback throughout the effort, allowing the team to evaluate operational utility, refine the capability, and establish a technical and transition pathway for potential future scaling.
Redhorse will work with Tsecond to incorporate its BRYCK® Micro-R rugged edge computing technology as part of the prototype architecture. The technology provides localized computing and data-storage capability designed for data-intensive operations at the tactical edge.
