Redhorse Corporation 2023 Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions Annual Report

ARLINGTON, VA, September 14, 2023 – Redhorse Corporation is pleased to announce the publication of its Annual Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions Report, developed in partnership with leading carbon accounting and management platform provider Persefoni.

For more than 15 years, Redhorse has provided energy management and environmental services to our federal clients, including direct support to legislative, Executive Order, and Department/Agency mandates and goals focused on reducing GHG emissions. We are committed to not only supporting our clients achieve net-zero operations, but also ensuring our own operations are continuously evaluated to balance corporate mission requirements and stewardship of resources.

In this inaugural report using the Persefoni platform, we disclose our Scope 1 and 2 emissions, calculated using the location-based methodology in accordance with the GHG protocol, for the last three full calendar years (CY 2020 to 2022).  Redhorse does not have any Scope 1 emissions to report for this evaluation period, thus this year’s report captures exclusively Scope 2 emissions. Redhorse’s annual average emissions for the reporting period is 68.14 tCO2-e, or the equivalent of approximately 15 passenger vehicles.
