Ben Hough Joins Redhorse as Vice President of Energy Services

Ben is Vice President of Energy Services with more than 20 years of experience delivering solutions to save money, reduce resource consumption, and help the environment. He brings broad-based technical skills in energy, environmental, and transportation services applied across federal, state, local, private, and international projects. He has proven capabilities in leadership, business development, and management. Ben’s experience includes resource efficiency management, energy and water efficiency, renewable energy, high-performance buildings, retro-commissioning, and carbon management services. He has supported comprehensive energy program activities at Department of Defense installations at both the base and regional command levels. Ben also has worked extensively to help federal customers meet the requirements outlined in the Energy Policy Act, the Energy Independence and Security Act, and Executive Orders 13423 and 13514 in a cost-effective manner. He has helped to develop and verify greenhouse gas inventory and offset projects using protocols established by the California Climate Action Registry and the Chicago Climate Exchange. Ben also brings experience working with private-sector customers, including power and water utilities, cities, schools, and industrial and commercial customers.
