Redhorse Awarded 3-Year, $6 Million SERDP/ESTCP Contract
Redhorse, as subcontractor to Noblis, was awarded a 3-year $62 million contract with the Strategic Environmental Research Program (SERDP) and Environmental Security Technology Certification Program (ESTCP).
SERDP, a multi-agency research and development (R&D) program established by Congress in 1991, addresses environmental concerns of DoD and the DOE through support for R&D of technologies that can enhance the capabilities of the departments to meet their environmental obligations. ESTCP demonstrates and validates innovative technologies that target DoD’s most urgent environmental needs and are projected to pay back the investment through cost savings, increased efficiency, and improved environmental outcomes.
Redhorse will support the SERDP/ESTCP by supporting high-level meetings between OSD and the military components; providing subject matter expertise to review R&D proposals, documents, and reports; and also provide programmatic and outreach support services to both programs.
