Redhorse Awarded BEP Environmental Health and Safety Services Contract
Redhorse was awarded a 5-year, $3.5 million contract to provide Environmental Health and Safety Services to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) in Washington, D.C. Redhorse will support the Office of Environmental Health & Safety (OEHS) in identifying and controlling occupational and environmental hazards in unique, diverse BEP work environments.
BEP is the government agency within the United States Department of the Treasury that designs and produces US currency. The impressive D.C. facility operates 24-hours a day and hosts over two thousand BEP employees and contractors.
Redhorse will provide continuous comprehensive environmental, occupational safety, and industrial hygiene services, including off-shift safety coverage, safety inspections, safety training, injury reporting and investigation, spill response, safety equipment testing, industrial hygiene monitoring, environmental management support, and documentation management. The BEP Environmental Health and Safety Services contract exemplifies a multidimensional program requiring a skilled response and reinforces Redhorse’s expertise in health, safety, and environmental requirements; environmental regulation and guidance development; emergency response planning and response; and industrial hygiene support services.
