Redhorse Awarded Contract with MCB Hawaii
Redhorse Corporation has been awarded a contract with MCB Hawaii to provide REM services in support of the base’s Energy and Utilities Management Programs. The contract provides for a base year and two, one year options. Redhorse will provide comprehensive energy management services to build and maintain effective programs to meet MCB Hawaii’s goals for energy and water efficiency and renewable energy. The scope of support includes (1) identification and implementation of easily attained cost saving initiatives in energy, water, and resource conservation, (2) development of energy, water, and resource conservation projects to reduce costs, (3) evaluation of technical and economic feasibility of energy and resource conservation projects using federal standard practices, and (4) support of energy and resource conservation awareness programs. REM services performed under this contract will comply with and support national policies regarding energy and water efficiency and renewable energy, including the Energy Policy Act of 2005, the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007, Executive Orders 13514 and 13423, as well as related policies of the Department of the Navy, Marine Corps, and MCB Hawaii.
