Redhorse Awarded Regional Resource Efficiency Management Program Contract
Redhorse has been awarded a contract with the U.S. Coast Guard to provide energy experts to develop and implement comprehensive energy program management activities under the U.S. Coast Guard Eastern Region Resource Efficiency Management (REM) program. Redhorse is providing region-wide energy program support across multiple facilities and installations and is serving as a champion and resource to drive results, provide expertise, and help ensure successful implementation of U.S. Coast Guard initiatives. Redhorse is working with the U.S. Coast Guard energy team, building occupants, operations and maintenance personnel, and other stakeholders to help develop, implement, and lead projects and programs to reduce energy consumption, improve operations, save money, and help the environment. Redhorse is also helping the Coast Guard meet the requirements of the Energy Policy Act, the Energy Independence and Security Act, Executive Orders 13423 and 13514, and U.S. Coast Guard energy instructions and policies.
