Redhorse to Conduct Residential Energy Audits throughout Southern California

Redhorse was awarded a task order to support KEMA, Inc., in conducting a statewide Residential Energy Study for the California Public Utility Commission (CPUC). The study consists of onsite inspection of approximately 2,000 residences to better understand the way energy is used in residences across California and thereby assist the CPUC and investor owned-utilities plan for future energy needs and energy efficiency programs. Redhorse is supporting survey activities in Southern California. Redhorse is providing a team of energy auditors to conduct interviews with residents, survey exterior building characteristics, assess mechanical system output and efficiencies, and collect lighting data to gain insight on current technologies being used by residents.
