Leon Brittain is responsible for internal and external communications, design, marketing, and implementation of Redhorse’s branding strategies from proposal development to marketing collateral accurately ensuring the Redhorse brand is strategically positioned and maintained for continued growth and visibility.
Leon is a creative professional with more than 30 years of expertise supporting commercial clients and government agencies in branding campaigns, strategic marketing, visual communications, consumer outreach, and publication management. Agencies and commercial clients include, but are not limited to United States Marine Corps, The White House, GSA, Department of Energy, Environmental Protection Agency, March of Dimes, Harley-Davidson, General Motors, and BMW Motard.
Prior to Redhorse, Leon served as Visual Communications Team Lead for GDIT’s proposal development department. He also served as Creative Team Lead for CSRA for more than 10 years. Leon began his career as a junior designer for Booz Allen and was awarded several promotions diligently working his way to Graphics Team Manager for one of the firm’s largest business units.
Additionally, Leon enjoyed five years as an Instructor for the Arlington School of Continuing Education, specifically teaching graphic design and software courses in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
Leon majored in Graphic Design at the prestigious Corcoran School of Art. He received professional certifications from The George Washington University in Digital Publications and New Directions in Publications Management and Digital Graphic Design from the Corcoran School of Art.
