Michael Ulmer-Goodrich Joins Redhorse as Corporate Controller

Michael Ulmer-Goodrich has joined Redhorse as the Corporate Controller responsible for the company’s financial and accounting systems. Michael has over 10 years of experience working for commercial and government contractors as a Controller. Michael joins the team with a strong background in project, division and corporate budgeting along with a history of accounting system implementations. Michael has successfully implemented Deltek GCS Premier as well as components of Deltek Costpoint for companies that range from 100 employees to 1000 employees.

Michael previously worked for AETC, which was acquired by SAIC. He was the lead in charge of due diligence efforts and closing the books of record for AETC and ensuring a seamless transition to SAIC systems. While previously working for SGIS (later acquired by Salient Federal Solutions), Michael worked on the implementation team for Deltek Costpoint, seamlessly transitioned payroll for 750+ employees during mid-year, and then was promoted to Director of Process Management where he worked to document and improve company-wide processes and procedures and worked on the due diligence team during the company’s acquisition.

Michael’s background includes strengths and successes in securing new banking relationships, due diligence efforts, budgeting, accounting system implementations, process management, and managing daily accounting functions. Michael has a BS degree from Excelsior College in Business, with a concentration in Accounting.
