Redhorse awarded USDA Cellular Acquisition Support Contract

Redhorse has been awarded a contract to assist the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Office of Chief Information Officer (OCIO) develop a strategy for the next generation of Mobility services. USDA requires the capability to track and better manage its cellular devices and inventory, while being flexible enough to respond to the ever-changing technology and needs of the organization. Redhorse has experience and extensive working knowledge of wireless programs and General Services Administration’s (GSA’s) contracts, including FSSI and schedule 70, and familiarity with NS2020 and Federal Mobility initiatives.
For this effort, Redhorse will review current wireless offerings and costs along with emerging technologies such as wireless private networks, Wi-Fi calling, device consolidation, and internet of things. Activities will include requirements development, acquisition strategy development, proposal and source selection assistance, program management, technical reviews and analyses, program planning, and monitoring of emerging technologies.
